Spring Featured Artist: Jillette Johnson - Pauvre Coeur
Pauvre Coeur is a haunting song about a broken girl who deserves more out of an abusive relationship, where she feels less and less like the beautiful woman she knows she is. The video documents the fall and rise of the woman and her broken relationship, in reverse, interwoven with footage of Jillette performing at the piano. Her performance is powerful and emotional, and the video shows a woman, broken, becoming a strong woman, ready to stand on her own and refusing to take the hand that has been dealt to her.
